The 96% water, gel-saturated, non-woven polyester composition of Burn Relief ® draws heat away from the burn area. This provides the cooling effect which can last up to 8 hours!

As a solid, gelled water product, Burn Relief ® is not wet or messy, has no pungent odour, does not absorb wound exudate, leaves no residue on the skin and contains no anti-microbial agents that may require flushing which could delay follow-up Emergency Room treatment.

Easily applied, Burn Relief ® comes in a variety of sizes and configurations to meet the requirements of emergency burn management.

The large, 50” x 72” Burn Relief ® Fire Blanket provides full body coverage for large area burns and also acts as an escape blanket. The non-woven polyester is fire resistant and the gel saturation allows the Fire Blanket to withstand temperatures up to 2000oC (3568oF) for several minutes.
